Award-winning facilities management company, Arcus, has been awarded an additional contact with its largest client Sainsbury’s.
The company has secured another region which will see it provide cleaning services for an additional 23 supermarkets and three convenience stores in the South East of England.
The contract, which went live on 28 October, welcomed 166 people into the business and will now see Arcus provide soft services for 17 Sainsbury’s regions, with 2,542 colleagues working across the cleaning division.
Chris Green, CEO, said, “This is another fantastic achievement for Arcus, made possible by the hard work and dedication of our people.
“In particular, we want to thank all of our colleagues who work on the current cleaning contract. The great service they have delivered has resulted in another contract win with our biggest client.”
This announcement builds on the firm’s existing facilities management contract it has with Sainsbury’s which is in place until 2026.
